Barack Obama Foundation’s Leaders Programs 2023

Leaders initiatives at the Barack Obama Foundation aim to inspire, empower, and connect regional cohorts of changemakers to accelerate meaningful and lasting change in their communities and across their region.

The Leaders program launched in Africa in 2018, expanded to Asia Pacific in 2019, and inaugurated a virtual program in Europe in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Leaders of the Obama Foundation come from a diverse range of countries and territories, work in the public, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, and address a wide range of social impact concerns.

The Leaders program provides practical skill development for social change, leadership coaching, critical topic discussion, and small group support.
