Applications are now being accepted for the Contrary Sabbatical Programme 2022. This program was created to assist you with quitting your job or dropping out of school in order to launch your own successful startup.
Contrary Capital has been running initiatives aimed at finding and helping ambitious builders even before their firms have launched for the past two years. They will provide the same kind of support to Sabbatical founders as they would to any other portfolio company: access to operators who have grown businesses from zero to thousands of people, a broad network of candidates, and tactical guidance from the team.
Contrary Sabbatical Programme 2022 Benefits
Through Contrary Sabbatical, 5 teams will receive:
- Funding: Up to $250,000 to build your company.
- Tactical Support: Calls with the Contrary investing team, access to a diverse network of potential hires, introductions to operators who have scaled companies to thousands of employees and more.
- Workspaces: Depending on the city, an office space to work out of.

- Anyone can apply. Tech employees and Students. The only requirement is that you commit to spending a full year with pure focus on your company.
- They have no industry or geographic preferences, and are open to backing international founders.
